Overview

Celebrity Cruises approached me to revitalize and reimagine the existing logo for their casino loyalty club. This was a comprehensive project, as the new branding would not only appear fleet-wide but also extend to numerous deliverables, including emails, direct mail, brochures, flyers, and web assets. My goal was to create a design that embodied simplicity, warmth, luxury, and elegance while staying true to Celebrity Cruises’ established visual identity.

  2. Symbolic Design: The logo had to retain elements that resonated with casino culture, such as the iconic playing chip, while maintaining an elevated aesthetic.

Process

  1. Research & Discovery

    • Conducted an in-depth analysis of Celebrity Cruises' brand identity and target audience.

    • Reviewed existing casino loyalty club materials to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

  2. Concept Development

    • Retained the circular shape of a playing chip as a core visual element.

    • Refined the typography to exude luxury and sophistication.

    • Preserved the original color scheme for brand recognition while enhancing its warmth and richness.

  3. Design Execution

    • Crafted a sleek and modern logo with clean lines and balanced proportions.

    • Presented the design to the Executive Creative Director, incorporating feedback to ensure alignment with the brand's vision.

    • Finalized the design, securing approval from executive leadership.

  4. Standardization & Implementation

    • Developed comprehensive brand guidelines for the logo's usage across platforms.

    • Created a suite of icons for social media to complement the logo.

Results
